What is a TikTok LIVE Creator Network?

The basics

TikTok works with approved agencies to help LIVE creators grow. TikTok's own name for them is LIVE Creator Networks; most people just say agencies. They use TikTok's platform for agencies, LIVE Backstage, to invite creators, follow their performance and run campaigns.

How creator networks are paid

TikTok pays creator networks separately, based on how their creators perform. Creators shouldn't have to pay to join, and the network's payment from TikTok doesn't come out of the creator's earnings from gifts. That's why a real network has every reason to help you grow.

The rules to know

• One at a time. You can only be part of one LIVE Creator Network at a time.
• You must be 18 or over to go LIVE and to send or receive gifts.
• Leaving is possible. You can ask to leave in the TikTok app. TikTok handles it, and there may be a waiting period before you can join another network.
• Networks follow TikTok's rules too. TikTok's policy for networks forbids, for example, poaching creators from other networks or pretending to act on behalf of TikTok.
